Indigenous Strategic Planning

The Indigenous Strategic Planning Training is a continuation of Indigenous Cultural Competency framework which is designed to develop, challenge and inspire individuals of any level and equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively influence change. The training aims to establish a more accurate insightful way of thinking regarding the growing gap between urban and remote representation of Indigenous communities and the status of relationships between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous within Canada. The focus is to address the confusing language of politicians and policy makers within Reconciliation dialogues to distill down to meaningful action at community based level through transformational change principles.
The intent is to challenge status-quo, increase effective communications, build sustainable relationships, and promote systems based thinking concerning the narrative of Reconciliation. This will be an entry point to collaborate and work together in building seeds of change. The strategic planning process will establish the pathways of Reconciliation and further increase self-awareness by elevating the advocacy of support beyond a negative way people may frame to one rooted within respect and recognition.
